The solution was implemented at a primary multinational pharmaceutical industry and passed all the validation tets. It will be installed in production to be employed both in automatic lines and manual lines.

A special control station was integrated in the case packer machine to verify the presence and readibility of all datamatrix printed on cartons when they are already packaged in the box. This is possible thanks to a unique multi-camera system that, through a scansion of the whole box, is able to obtain an equivalent camera resolution equal to 48 Mpixel achieving the requested reliability for the reading of all datamatrix on the packaged cartons.

The developed system is able to manage the complete process of Track&Trace, since the collection of datas coming from the production line (Master Tracking System),

the management of these data in a dedicated database located in a centralized server (Global Management System) exchanging information with SAP system,  

 up to the support in the shipment procedures thanks to the availability of a specific software (Warehouse Module).
