THE FLEXIBLE EASY-TO-USE SYSTEM FOR VERIFICATION OF ALPHANUMERIC CHARACTERS AND BARCODES (MONO AND BI-DIMENSIONAL)

Thanks to the various camera models, it is possible to define the most suitable configuration for printing inspection throughout the entire packaging line.

The software present in each camera allows simultaneous decoding of bar codes and alphanumeric characters, regardless of their orientation when passing under the ray of the camera.

These bar codes are all used in the industrial sector and are both linear (pharmacode, 2/5, 128, UPC/EAN, code 32/39) and bi-dimensional ( 2D Datamatrix ECC200, PDF417, RSS stacked code).

The OCV/OCR software on the SmartCamera, the most powerful and reliable solution available on the market, allows the reading of characters printed with ink jet, laser and hot foil, as well as those printed with the embossing technique, traditionally the most difficult and critical one.

The inspection can be performed on every kind of surface: paper, plastic and aluminum.

Each camera can process the same image working on 3 different windows and can recognize up to 5 rows (20 characters each).

Thanks to the exclusive configuration interface it is possible to program all inspections in a quick and easy way.

The system is tested at a speed higher than 1.000 readings per minute, in order to guarantee production efficiency.

PQC can be integrated with all classic inspections along the line, such as BFC on the blistering machine or PIC on the thermoforming machine, Box Checking for the correct case packing verification, and can also be integrated with the Antares Tracking System for production traceability.
