The control system uses one or more high resolution line scan cameras.

The line scan camera is able to reconstruct the complete image line by line as the inspected  

object passes through its field of view.

The advantages of this technology are its very high resolution (4 times higher than a common high resolution matrix camera), its speed and the optical set-up (best image quality, stable illumination and reflection free).

TLC is a very innovative solution, a unique real time system able to inspect the total layout of printing with unmatched performances:  other solutions available on the market merely allow the inspection of only a partial area of the foil.

TLC is also used to verify the print quality with high speed digital printers, flexographic or ink-jet printers, and is able to detect minimum defects.

Besides detecting printing defects, the system is able to read and verify barcodes (linear and 2D) and printed characters (OCV/OCR).

The system's flexibility makes it possible to personalize controls on demand, such as the solution designed for an important multinational company for the inspection of Japanese characters.

TLC can be integrated with all classic controls along the line, such as BFC on the blistering machine, PQC (BarCode Reader and OCV/OCR) on leaflets, cartons and labels, Box Checking for correct case packing verification, and also with the Antares Tracking System for production traceability.
